From our family to yours…

Napoli’s Italian Café is the realization of a dream by Brett and Lisa Kinzel. Having moved to Grapevine in 2001 for the equitable commuting potential (mine to Ft. Worth, hers to Dallas), we fell in love with the Main Street area and its historic, hometown feel. During our 15 plus years working in the corporate world (Lisa) and the food industry (Brett), our goal was to one day open our own restaurant. We agreed that Main Street Grapevine was the perfect place to do this and decided that if the chance ever presented itself that we would grab it.
A few years passed, and as luck would have it, an opportunity arose in the form of the old Levvitt Drug Store. With the store having closed, Lisa and I realized that this was the fortuitous event that we had been waiting for. One year later, in May of 2004, we opened the doors of Napoli’s Italian Café just in time for Main Street Days
Lisa and I love living in Grapevine and are grateful that we can contribute to our local economy. Our regulars are cherished as friends and it gives us great joy to meet newcomers to the restaurant. We sincerely hope that all of our customers return again and again to be a part of the Napoli’s family.
Family owned and operated, we genuinely believe in our motto “From our family to yours.” So please bring your family in to visit us at Napolis Italian Cafe.

  • Lovely location on Main Street across from the Palace Theater. They have remodeled recently and added a bar and nicer dining in the back of the confectionary. Coffee is wonderful, as well as the gelato and candy/chocolate. It's a great place to go on date night for dinner. Friendly baristas and servers!

  • When….the…moon…hits…your…eye…like…a big-a’…pizza pie….Just a few weeks ago, this was a cute little Mom & Pop dining destination on the main thoroughfare (yes, Main Street) in downtown Grapevine, Napoli’s. The pizzas were good, and you could get a nice meatball or eggplant sandwich at lunchtime. For dinner, pizza was a popular choice.I’ve always been fond of their eggplant parmesan sandwiches, and the gelato selections in the little room they opened some time back next to the dining room are lovely.Owners Lisa and Brett Kinzel have expanded the space, re-decorated and re-furnished and created a top-notch restaurant that reflects the growing sophistication of the area. They’ve added a bar. Homemade Italian cakes line the deli case in the front, where the chocolates – which they will eventually upgrade, too – are on display.

  • This place is fantastic! We went here after finding the lines too long at another nearby italian place and were very surprised by the quality we found. The food is about what you'd expect to pay for the quality and the service is good. What really sets the place above the rest though is the connected dessert shop. The gelato is excellent. Definitely a destination eating spot. We will definitely be coming here again

  • Just happened upon this place, and could not have enjoyed the food more. The eggplant Parmesan is served over pasta with tomato sauce that is rich and thick. Mamma's salad was crisp, fresh greens lightly dressed. Happy Hour house wine was quite good. A special treat is their homemade limoncello for dessert. Service was tops. Will look forward to going back next time we are flying in or out of DFW.

  • Great Gelato. They actually have three distinct areas. The restaurant, the confectionary for desserts, and bar that has live music on the weekends and special occasions. I only tried the confectionary this time but will give the restaurant a chance next time. Friendly staff and the owner was working at the register.
